Our vision is already on ballotage in Brazil on October 30th, Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB) senator and presidential candidate Simone Tebate announced that the decision on which candidate to support “has already been made”., “I have a position and I will speak at the right time,” Tebate said, noting that the decision would be known “soon”. Tebet came third with 4.16%, some 4.9 million votes, which would define the second round between Lula da Silva and Jair Bolsonaro.

“I hope they understand that this is no moment in Brazil. Tebate and his candidacy

The decision of the MDB candidate will be known when a joint position is defined with the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB), Podemos and its allies from Pseudodania. Tebate’s 4.9 million votes, as well as Lula’s former minister Ciro Gomes – who left PT to make his candidacy in 2018 – will be crucial in the October 30 results. Gomes who came in fourth with 3.04%, equivalent to 3.5 million votes.
