The United States Formula 1 GP has a winner, Max Verstappen. But the attention went to Elon Musk, who arrived driving a Tesla Cybertruck at the event.
It was impossible for the huge silver ship that seemed to arrive from the future to go unnoticed. Its unique design attracts everyone, not so much for its beauty as for its uniqueness.
Elon Musk has been seen on several occasions this year driving the Tesla Cybertruck, one of which was to give the president of Hungary, Katalin Novak, a ride during his visit to the company’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.
Now he did it at the Circuit of the Americas, in Texas, before thousands of fans who witnessed the GP of the United States won by Verstappen.
He was accompanied by his little son, X AE A-12, who enjoyed the session with his father.
Elon Musk’s Cybertruck appearance comes at a difficult time for Tesla. According to the magnate, the company is “digging its own grave with Cybertruck,” expressing concerns about the state of the economy.
Tesla reported revenue of $23.5 billion, below the $24.3-$24.4 billion expected by Wall Street analysts.
Although its cash flow was positive, with $800 million added in the quarter, profit margins were tight.
Tesla’s explanation indicates the results of the “increase in operating costs driven by Cybertruck, Artificial Intelligence and other R&D (Research, Development and Innovation) projects.”
It also pointed to “production ramp costs and idle costs associated with factory upgrades.”
The price of the Tesla Cybertruck is in the range of $39,900. Can you meet the demands for years to come and get the business back? It is in the hands of Elon Musk.
