Elon Musk reveals what he thinks about Trump’s run in 2024

Elon Musk wants Donald Trump back on Twitter, but not exclusively in the White House.

“Even though I think a less divisive candidate would be better off in 2024, I still think Trump should be reinstated on Twitter,” tweeted the Tesla CEO, which is currently in a $44 billion deal on social media. Working to buy the platform.

Musk suggested later on Thursday that President Joe Biden was elected because people wanted a break from the Trump administration’s non-stop controversy.

“Biden’s fault is that he thinks he was chosen to change the country,” he wrote, “but really everyone just wanted less drama.”

Musk, a self-described champion of “free speech,” has said he will make Twitter private once his purchase is complete.

Twitter banned Trump in January 2021 after inciting the deadly US Capitol riot. He often used the platform to promote conspiracy theories, attack enemies and divide the nation.

Last week, Musk claimed that removing Trump from Twitter was a mistake.

“I think it was a morally bad decision to be frank and silly,” he said, “isolating a large part of the country and ultimately not resulting in Donald Trump not having a voice. “

However, Trump has said he will not return to Twitter and will instead focus on using his own truth social network. Despite teasing the prospect since he lost the 2020 vote, he has yet to officially announce his candidacy for 2024.
