Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday accused the West of being “the main cause of the massacres in Gaza.”
“The main causes of the massacres in Gaza are the people of the West. Except for some consciences that raise their voices, these massacres are entirely the work of the West,” declared the head of State in Turkey in a “rally in support of Palestine. ” which brought a hundred thousand people to Istanbul.

Erdogan accused Western powers of “creating an atmosphere of crusades” against Muslims.
“Everyone knows that Israel cannot take a step without the Western powers,” he estimated, chastising them for not asking for a ceasefire.
“They are crying for the dead children in Ukraine, why this silence in front of the dead children in Gaza?” he asked and accused Israel of “war crimes.”
“They are the invaders, the invaders. Of course, every country has the right to defend itself, but where is the justice? What happened in Gaza is not self-defense, but a massacre,” continued the Turkish president.
Those statements led Israel to withdraw its diplomats from Turkey to “reassess relations.”
“Due to the serious statements coming from Turkey, I ordered the withdrawal of diplomatic representatives to re-evaluate relations between Israel and Turkey,” detailed Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen on Saturday night in X (former Twitter).
