Erdogan vows to expose Israel’s ‘war crimes’ in Gaza at massive rally

Turkey preparing for “exposing Israel’s war crimes to the world” in Gaza, Turkish President Recep Tayyip promised this Saturday Erdoğanduring the great show of solidarity with Palestine, held in Istanbul.

“Israel has been openly committing war crimes for 22 days. Israel, we will expose your war crimes to the world, we are preparing it,” Erdogan told a crowd of over of 100,000 in Istanbul’s old airport.

“The West has not even proclaimed a ceasefire. How many children, how many more women will die until you announce a ceasefire?” the president asked during his speech, which was broadcast live on several television channels.

Erdogan compared the deaths in Gaza due to Israeli bombing in response to the attack launched by the Islamist militia Hamas against Israel on October 7 with the Holocaust in Nazi Germany and the atomic bombs of World War II, which assumes the responsibility of the “West”.

“What they know how to do well is killing. They destroyed the Jews in gas chambers, they wiped cities off the map with their inhabitants inside with atomic bombs. We saw the same mentality today in Gaza,” criticized the Turkish president.

Erdogan emphasized during his speech the independence and greatness of Turkey as the successor of the Ottoman Empire to which they belonged, he recalled, not only in Syria and the Balkans, but also in Gaza.

“Why don’t you who cry for the dead in Ukraine raise your voice for those who died in Gaza? Hey, West: Do you want to spark a new struggle of the Crescent against the Cross? If that’s your intention, know that “This country is not dead but still standing,” he warned.

He recalled his speech on Tuesday, in which he declared that “Hamas is not a terrorist organization but a group of freedom fighters” and assured that it “troubles Israel deeply.”

He described as “pathetic” the attitude of the opposition in Turkey, which, he stated, recognizes that the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu “is a terrorist, but they say that Hamas is also.”

Erdogan concluded his speech by repeating his proposal to proclaim an immediate ceasefire, act immediately to release the hostages held by Hamas, establish a humanitarian corridor to care for the population of Gaza, and end the Zionist that “settler terror” in the West Bank. and establish a peace treaty guaranteed by third countries.
