F1 United States GP classification, with Sainz fourth and Alonso, retired

Max Verstappen added a new victory in the 2023 United States GP, equaling his record of victories per season in Formula 1, with 15. On this occasion, he had to fight to the end with an ambitious Lewis Hamilton, who put him on the ropes in the last laps of the Austin circuit.

Lando Norris led from the start, after overtaking polesitter Charles Leclerc, but gave way to Verstappen after 28 laps and finally to Hamilton, to finish third on the podium. Carlos Sainz took a valuable fourth position and Fernando Alonso, after a great comeback, had to retire due to a mechanical problem.
