In the armed attack on a family, the father and son were killed, and the mother was seriously injured. The woman was urgently taken to the civil hospital. The events happened in the Zapotec neighborhood of Villa de Zaachila. He or the hitmen escaped, as they almost always did, without being stopped by anyone or anything.
THE BLOODY EVENTS
The bloody events took place this Thursday morning at Cosijop Street, corner of Pezelao, in the aforementioned neighborhood. At this place, three family members were out: mother, father, and son, pushing a wheelbarrow with pots full of rose bushes.
According to witnesses, the family was suddenly intercepted by people traveling on a motorcycle who, without saying a word, began attacking with bullets, instantly killing the father and son, whose bodies were left on one side of the truck A purple man in a neighborhood store with an inscribed Hello Kitty character.
Meanwhile, the woman started running and was injured in her arm and stomach. The killers immediately fled at full speed in an unknown direction.
BEWARE OF THE FACTS
At that moment, neighbors noticing the attack immediately called 911, and minutes later, elements of the city police and paramedics from the Zaachila Medical Emergency Department arrived at the scene. Where the men’s deaths were confirmed.
Paramedics immediately stabilized the injured woman, 47-year-old Valentina R. L., with injuries to her arm and abdomen. For this reason, as an emergency, she was referred to the Civil Hospital by Doctor Aurelio Valdivieso, where she was admitted for medical attention. Although some WhatsApp groups and social networks claimed the woman had died, paramedics who referred her to Nosomocio confirmed that she had been alive up until then. Therefore, death was wrong.
Investigate and identify the victims
On the other hand, the uniformed officers cordoned off the crime scene and alerted the staff of the Attorney General of Oaxaca (FGEO). Later, investigators from the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Serious Crimes (FEADAI) and experts arrived to cover the crime area and collect evidence.
The fatalities have been tentatively identified by the names Fernando MR, 21, and Federico MG, 50, son and father. Their bodies would be turned over to the forensic medical service for a statutory autopsy.
The bodies are expected to be identified over the next few hours and judicially released for burial.
Finally, an investigation file was initiated against the person or persons responsible for the case because of double intentional homicide.
