The University of Artemisa (UA) opens its doors to the first workshop on the Religious Process from the Social and Humanistic Sciences. The scientific event, organized by the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, brought presentations from teachers, students from Artemis and from the other six provinces of the country that participated through online.
The central conference was given by MsC. Alain Montano Hernández, Secretary of the Bible Commission of the Council of Churches of Cuba, who was touched by the wide participation and expertise shown in some subjects.
The historical value of religion and its influence on social and local development; philosophy, thought and religion; conflicts, religious and religious; the relationship of art to religion, freedom of belief, its expressions and manifestations; The role of religion in the formation of values and the role played by religions in the formation of the identity of territories are some of the many aspects of this science addressed in the 33 participant presentations.
The MsC. Yuliesky Amador Echevarría, dean of the faculty in charge of this event, expressed to this press his agreement to this first meeting. “We were very surprised to receive that the event contained the university community, there were presentations from all the mayors of our Faculty; In addition, the work from the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office and our investigators were included. We are sure that there are future editions.”
