Five Things You Missed in Episode 2 of the Minnesota Bachelorette Party

Here are five things you missed from the second episode of Bachelorette Season 25, which aired Tuesday night on ABC. The show features fan favorite and St. Louis Park native Michelle Young.

1. Young opens the episode by telling the audience, “I have an amazing group of 23 guys here. They feel real, they feel real, and that’s really important to me. ” She also used the words “authentic” and “authentic” on multiple occasions during last week’s premiere.

2. A completely sincere and authentic move: Young’s first group date, which includes Brandon, Romeo, Rick, P.J., Will, Olumide, Casey, Daniel, LT and Peter, is in a simulation class (Young is the teacher) with her being joined fifth graders to interview potential suitors. Examples of questions: “How much is 2021 multiplied by 18?” “How many times a day can you call me beautiful?” Musical chairs and spelling bee were also supplied.

3. For her first one-on-one date of the season, Young selected Jamie, a technical director from Washington State. They travel to Joshua Tree National Park and climb the cliff, where they have a picnic at the summit. Young says it was “a great moment,” and Jamie says he will remember it for the rest of his life. Later that evening, back at the bachelorette party, the couple receive a private concert from New York-based singer-songwriter Caroline Jones.

4. The next day there will be another group date with Clayton, Rodney, Martin, Mollick, Chris S., Chris J., Pardeep, Knight, Spencer and Joe Coleman, a Hopkins High School graduate who had a short online chat with Young before the show. This morning, Coleman receives word that his mentor, high school coach Ken Novak Sr., has died at the age of 92. “We’re going to go on this basketball date,” Coleman says. “I think Novak would be the kind of person who would like me to go there and get engaged.” On a group date with a couple of WNBA players, Coleman dominates the court and wins some personal time with Young, who tells him, “I really feel like we have that level of understanding. I don’t know if it’s basketball, I don’t know if it’s Minnesota, I don’t know both. “

5. After some (prolonged) argument between the men that Young’s previous contact with Coleman and their shared Minnesota legacy gives him an unfair advantage, four more are sent to pack. Goodbye Alec, Daniel, Pardeep and PJ.
