Former Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn has baked the world’s largest Jaffa cake, which weighs 80kg.
That equates to over 6,557 regular-sized Jaffa cakes, the giant treat with a diameter of 175 cm, beating his own Guinness World Record in 2017.
More than 160 eggs, 8 kg of dark chocolate and 15 kg of orange jelly were used to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Britain’s Got Talent.

Baker worked with Will McMath, product development specialist, and McVity’s team to tackle a process that took more than 11 hours from start to finish at McVity’s innovation bakery in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
Jaffa Cake, with 300 servings, was served to guests and crew at Britain’s Got Talent Live semifinal outside the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, West London.

Francis won the fourth season of The Great British Bake Off in 2013.
