An Uber Eats delivery driver was murdered by the person who placed the order, in Florida, United States. According to authorities, the defendant was identified as Oscar Solis, 30.
Solis is accused of killing the worker during a delivery Wednesday at a residence in Holiday, Florida, Pasco County Police Chief Chris Nocco said.
The authority said once Oscar killed the man, he dismembered him and placed his remains in trash bags and placed them in a refrigerator, where a purchase receipt with the name of solis.
“It was a horrendous crime. This was demonic. What he did was diabolical” said Chris Nocco.
The investigation came after the victim’s wife reported him missing after he never returned home from making Uber Eats deliveries.
Uber told investigators the victim’s last reported location was at Solis’ residence.
According to local media, the evidence collected in the case includes blood found in various parts of the house and a key ring belonging to the victim and found inside Solis’ dressing room, on top of his wallet.

Nocco said the attacker was released from an Indiana prison last January after serving a four-year sentence for assault and burglary and moved into a Florida home three months ago.
He also noted that Solis was a member of the MS-13 gang in Indiana. The man, who is six feet tall and weighs 300 pounds, worked as a security guard at a strip club in Florida, according to the affidavit.
The authorities have recovered videos in which the victim is observed delivering his order. Two Hispanic men also appear carrying heavy bags of garbage.
Authorities have yet to press charges against the other man, who worked as a chauffeur for Solis.
