The Argentine player is out of the Play Off race and won’t be back until February
The next season in the United States starts in February
Inter Miami lost on Saturday night against Cincinnati in Florida (0-1), a defeat that represents the complete elimination of Messi’s team for the Play-Off. A miracle must happen for Inter to access the next round because they were last in the standings when they arrived with Busquets and Alba. Mathematically, it is still possible, but the demand is the highest.
Since his arrival, andl Inter Miami has won only one match out of six in which Messi did not play due to damage and lost just one of the 13 in which Messi started, a record that shows the importance of the Argentine in the team.
Inter is out of the title race and Messi will soon start a long vacation of … 4 months! Yes. Leo Messi, once the next two remaining matches of the MLS regular season are played, will not be playing football for a long time. He will only be seen in one of the friendlies scheduled for Argentina this season. The next season in the United States begins in February, moment where Messi should end his vacation.
What remains, is a void for football because it does not have the best player. He can lend these months… maybe in Barça, but I think that at the moment it is not part of the player’s plans.
