The work of the student from the República de Cuba Primary School, located in the central city of Trinidad, Cultural Heritage of Humanity, represents a policeman and a fireman on top of a battle tank teaching the pioneers.

The national award includes a copy of the Granma yacht and a diploma, a recognition that the mother of Fabián Hernández appreciates and shows that among the Cuban pioneers there is a large group of those who continue the legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
He also received recognition from the command of the Sancti Spíritus Military Region, the Union of Young Communists and the highest authorities of the Party and Government, among others.
At the start of the event, a wreath was placed next to the bust of National Hero José Martí and members of La Colmenita performed the Fiesta de los Muñecos dance.
For his part, first colonel Alexander Rivero, head of the Sancti Spíritus Military Region, recognized first colonel Cardoso Villavicencio for the work done in training the new generations.
During the event, First Lieutenant Claudia Aguilar announced the call for the next edition of the Friends of the FAR 2024 Contest, which was held in 1978 at the initiative of Army General Raúl Castro.
The competition is sponsored by FAR, Ministry of Education, José Martí Pioneers Organization and Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution.
Present with the students of the school and its teachers were Yariel Hernández, member of the Provincial Committee of the Party; Denis Díaz, first secretary of the Party of Trinidad, and Tania Gutiérrez, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, and other leaders.
