General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) has partnered with Ramco Systems for its SkyGuardian Global Support Solutions (SGSS) maintenance program. Ramco will provide its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software platform for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to support the MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems.
“Ramco’s technology is leading the industry” By providing turnkey solutions to digitize MRO operations, improve turnaround time (TAT), improve customer satisfaction, service level compliance, on-time deliveries and manage other complex business processes.” Maintenance Sam Richardson’s GA-ASI said the vice president.
For his part, Manoj Kumar Singh, president of Ramco Systems Corporation and director of customer service, aviation, aerospace and defence, assured that “ensuring the trust of a world leader in unmanned aerial systems is a historic achievement for Ramco in the past. Built over 25 years and complemented by innovative next generation features, Ramco’s deep aviation functionality, SkyGuardian will optimize the operational efficiency of the program.”
The SGSS program is compatible with GA-ASI clients operating the MQ-9B. It provides operators with complete maintenance solutions that enable maximum system availability, common elements and comprehensive training services.
SGSS reduces life cycle costs for customers by taking advantage of maintenance costs for all MQ-9B customers. The plan specifically pools resources for regional operators to create synergies in procurement, management and depot repair. This “consolidated fleet” approach for SkyGuardian operators provides collective buying power that encourages suppliers and subcontractors to create long-term contractual agreements and innovative solutions to enhance customer service and cost savings offered to customers.
