Those living near Denver International Airport will have a new hotel option: the city’s first Atwell Suites.
IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hotel company with well-known brands like Holiday Inn, Intercontinental and others, is opening a 96-room property on Thursday. The Atwell Suites Denver Airport – Tower Road at 18350 East 65th Avenue is the brand’s second property.
“Being close to the airport, we know the property’s flexible design as well as its convenient location will appeal to both business and leisure travelers,” said hotel owner Kendall Combs of KJ Hotel Properties. With IHG for over two decades.
It will join a multitude of other hotels on Tower Road, including the Hyatt House Denver Airport, the Embassy Suites at Hilton Denver International Airport, and the Quality Inn & Suites Denver International Airport. They are all located within a 15-minute drive from the airport.
Atwell Suites offers king or two-queen studio suites, which feature fitness studios and coworking spaces. The stay includes complimentary breakfast, on-site parking, and free access to a beverage station with an espresso machine. Guests can socialize at the hotel’s bar or meet at monthly themed events.
A feature by the brand are Morse code phrases hidden throughout the artwork on the property. The hotel provides a decoder for the guests to know the messages.
IHG announced the construction of the new Denver hotel in May, the first since the Atwell Suites Miami Brickell.
“We congratulate KJ Hotel Properties on bringing this dynamic brand to Colorado and look forward to welcoming guests to the Mile High City,” said Karen Gilbride, Vice President of Avid Hotels & Atwell Suites at IHG.
