Google Chrome browser was first released in 2008. The Google Chrome logo at the time consisted of a blue circle surrounded by three slices of green, yellow and red. The logo has undergone minor changes since 2008. However, despite the changes made, the Google Chrome logo remained the same when we viewed it from a wide frame. While material-designed logos have turned into a trend today, it turns out that Google has rolled out a new revamp to the Chrome browser’s logo.
The new Google CROM logo looks like this
Google Chrome designer Alvin Hu published the new Google Chrome logo on his Twitter account. “We’ve updated the Chrome logo for the first time in 8 years,” Hu said. He added that the new logo will start appearing on the device soon. So what does the new Google Chrome logo look like?
In the new logo of Google Chrome, shadows are removed and colors are made brighter. This simplifies the logo. Although not mentioned by Hu, the blue circle in the middle looks bigger. The colors in the logo are more vivid.
Finding that mixing certain shades of green and red creates an unpleasant color vibration, the Google team made a very subtle addition to the logo to reduce it. But in general we cannot say that there are huge changes.
Chrome logo will not look the same on all systems
The ChromeOS version of the Chrome logo will appear more colorful to match the other system icons, while the logo on macOS will have a smaller shade. Windows 10 and 11 versions will be tailored to match the style of Windows icons.
Hu said that people who use Chrome Canary (the developer version of Chrome) will start seeing the new logo, and that everyone will be able to see the new logo in the next few months.
