Students from Rolling Hills Preparatory and its sister school, Renaissance School, recently walked across the stage at San Pedro’s Warner Grand Theater – celebrating graduation.
Following the procession, the head of the school, Amy Hollinger, delivered the inaugural address to the 27 graduates in an afternoon commencement ceremony. Student speakers were Rolling Hills Prep Salutatorian Nicholas Sakaguchi and Renaissance valedictorian Olivia Buckler. Dr. Terence Roberts delivered the keynote address.
The start of the class of 2022, on Friday, June 10, also marked the 40th anniversary of the school’s founding. A trio of private educational institutions, including the Reach School, focus on students with diverse learning styles, and emphasize small class sizes and individualized learning.
