The match between Granada and Athletic Bilbao had to be stopped after a fan suffered a serious health problem in the stands.
GRANADA — Granada reported that the reason why the match between the Andalusian team and Athletic Club was stopped was because someone suffered a serious health problem in the Nuevo Los Cármenes stand.
“Health care is being carried out in the stands. There is a person in serious condition. “He continues to be revived and his transfer is not possible because he is not stable,” the club informed the media shortly after the suspension the game.
Granada and Athletic players retired to the locker room after twenty minutes on the pitch after the match was stopped.
