TORONTO ( Associated Press) – Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his 16th homer, then scored the winning run in the 10th inning, as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-6 at the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night.

Orioles rookie Adly Rutsman hit his first career home run and got his first two RBIs. Ryan Mountcastle stayed home twice, but Baltimore lost against Toronto for the eighth time in nine meetings.

Moving on to 10th place against Felix Bautista (2-2), Guerrero scored a single from the left to automatic runner Bo Bichette from second base.

Guerrero made 3 for 4 and scored three times as Toronto won for the 15th time in 20 games.

Matt Chapman and Teoscar Hernandez scored two runs each in the third innings. Toronto is 17-8 when hitting two or more homers.

Adam Simber (7-2) played an inning of relief for the win.

Baltimore went 6–2 in six innings, but Mountcastle added twice, 11th and 12th of their season, to help tie the Orioles.

Mountcastle made it 6-3 with a single drive from Jose Berios in seventh place. Cedric Mullins and Austin Hays added another run in the eighth with back-to-back doubles off Yimi Garcia, and Mountcastle followed with a tying homer. It was the fifth multiple-homer game of his career.

Ratshman, a catcher who was the overall No. 1 pick in the 2019 Draft, had not run through 74 at-bats in his first 20 matches. He hit a two-run homer in the fourth and also doubled.

Berios allowed three runs and three hits in seven innings, scored none and scored eight.

Bruce Zimmerman of Baltimore conceded six runs in 4 2–3 innings and had the worst 11 hits of the season, including three home runs. After allowing a home run in his first six starts of the season, Zimmermann has allowed 17 in his last seven outings, including three or more in his last five.
