Eight years (well, actually nine if we look at it), since we listened in amazement to the confession of Robert Durst, HBO, announced the return of ‘The Jinx’. The excellent true crime documentary will return in 2024 (unlike most other series on the channel) with a new installment that will follow what happened after the last one.
It’s his Andrew responsible for the original miniseries, which began work to make ‘The Jinx: Part Two’, the result of the investigative work of eight years after the controversial confession of the eccentric subject, made when he believed that there was no recording during a pause in an interview.
An interesting and controversial documentary
The controversy stems from accusations against the filmmaker and HBO for concealing this confession (and other incriminating documents obtained in the possession of the producers). by the authorities until before the final broadcast. On the eve of said termination, Durst was arrested for the murder of Susan Berman.

His image on television as a creature between the unfriendly and the quirky has made him one of the great and fascinating characters of recent times. Winning two Emmys, including best documentary, ‘The Jinx’ debuted alongside ‘Making a Murderer’, the fever for the true crime genre.
