The Human Resources and Training Division of the Ministry of Public Health offers residencies in medical specialties to graduates of the Catholic University of Kyoto for a medical career. It was organized on December 5 within the framework of the “Meet our residences and join us” program.
Chiefs of residents and coordinators explained and related their experiences to graduate professionals, who consulted about agendas, hospital practices, specialty specialties, hourly loads, and more.
Instructors at the three San Juan locations, the Marcial Quiroga Hospital, the Rosson Hospital, and the René Favaloro Training Center, emphasize the residency system as the best method of education and training for the specialist. It is an on-the-job training system, as the resident learns all the details of his or her specialty.
The need to train professionals in areas such as General and Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Medical Clinic, Neonatology, Adult and Child Intensive Care was also highlighted. Health essential and priority areas for which the Provincial Health Department, Ministry of Health of the province implemented additional economic incentives, among other strategies.
Resident chiefs and instructors from the following specialties participated: General and Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Medical Clinic, General Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Neonatology, Hematology, Infectious Diseases, Ophthalmology, O. and traumatology, pediatric intensive care, diagnostic imaging and psychiatry.
