15 September (WNN) — WarnerMedia announced on Wednesday that Helen Mirren will host Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses. The four-part competition series based on the books and movies by JK Rowling will premiere on Cartoon Network and TBS.
Mirren, who saw her British acting colleagues take on roles as teachers at Hogwarts Wizarding School, said she is happy to finally join the franchise.
“I knew that someday I would get the role of Harry Potter, and I’m very happy to attend the 20 Years Film Festival,” Mirren said in a statement. “Movies inspire such fascination and wonder for many of us, and it will be such a treat to let that magic reign for the countless fans who continue to revel in this mesmerizing world.” “
WarnerMedia did not release details of the competition. However, fans know that Hogwarts divides its school into four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.
