Baskin Robbins takes home the honor of Most Popular in California. It leads all the chains as the most popular in 13 other states according to Google.

Google compiled this list by tracking which ice cream chain is the most searched for in that state. Google also listed the 24 most popular places in California for ice cream.
Two Bay Area ice cream locations were on the list. Miyako Old Fashioned Ice Cream in San Francisco was ranked 10th and Yerson Gelato Cake in Danville ranked 11th in the state.
According to Google, SF Spot received 194 reviews and an average rating of 4.88 out of 5. Danville’s Business received an average score of 4.87 and 140 reviews.

Plus, Google has listed the 10 most popular “waffle-y darling” local ice cream spots in the country. San Francisco’s Glazier Rolled Ice Cream and Boba Tea, located near Union Square, cracks the list as California’s only location.
