Here’s how the 2024 Caribbean Series went

The 66th edition of the Caribbean Series continues, this is a special edition because it returns to a neutral place: the United States. From February 1 to 9, 2024, loanDepot Park, home of the MLB Miami Marlins, will witness the most important baseball tournament in Latin America.

The competition was held for the first time in 1949 and this is the third time that it has been held in the United States, as it was also held in 1990 and 1991.

So far the representatives of the Dominican Republic have won 22 titles, followed by Puerto Rican teams with 16, Mexican teams with nine, Cuba with eight, Venezuelan teams with seven, Panama with two, and Colombia with one.

Tigres del Licey of the Dominican Republic is the current champion after winning the title in 2023 in Venezuela.

Which teams are playing in the 2024 Caribbean Series?

This year, the Caribbean Series will be played by seven teams: the champions of the leagues of Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic; It also has a representative novena from Panama, Nicaragua, and Curacao as guests.
