Here’s How to Enter the Chino Hills Boat Parade

The Kiwanis Club of Chino Hills invites Chino Hills residents and local groups to register to participate in the 29th Annual Chino Hills Boat Parade on December 10.

Kiwanis Club is seeking for decorated boats and non-boat entries such as bands, horseback riding, golf carts and more. According to a news release, in the nighttime parade, decorated boats and other entries travel north on Peyton Drive starting at Eucalyptus Avenue.

Registration packets are available at www.chinohills.org/BoatParade; at Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive; and at the Recreation Office at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive. The registration deadline is November 24.

There is a mandatory meeting for parade participants on December 8 at 7 p.m. at Chino Hills Community Center.

During the parade, announcers will be at Peyton Drive at the corner of Eucalyptus Avenue and Boys Republic Drive and share information about parade entries. Glow sticks will be given out along the parade route until supplies run out.

Chino Valley Community Church hosts the after-party and awards ceremony of the parade at 14601 Peyton Drive.

The Kiwanis Club will present the Best Lights, Best Humor/Originality and Most Patriotic awards as well as the Meyer Award. Chino Valley Community Church offers live music, baked goods, hot drinks, Santa, and more.
