The head of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah offered this Friday an alarming statement about the war between Israel and Hamas.
The leader’s words were televised by hundreds of supporters in the streets of Beirut who gathered with the flags of Palestine, Iran, and the armed group.
Although Hezbollah’s involvement in the conflict has been limited to brief incidents on Israel’s northern border, Nasrallah noted that the possibility of a “Total war is realistic.”
“The possibility that this front registers a further development or a full war (…) is realistic and can happen, the enemy must prepare,” he warned.
“If we want to find a fight with full legitimacy, we will there is a war like fighting against the Zionists.”
In addition to Israel, the terrorist leader also targeted the United States, which he described as “fully responsible” for the war in Gaza.
“The United States is fully responsible for the ongoing war against Gaza and its people, and Israel is only a tool of killing. (…) prevents a ceasefire and an end to aggression,” he said.
Nasrallah also assured that he is not afraid of the US Army:
“Their ships in the Mediterranean do not scare us… We are ready to face the ships they threaten us with”he insisted.
On the other hand, the Lebanese said that stopping the bombing of Gaza would prevent a full-scale war.
“Whoever wants to prevent a regional war must immediately stop the aggression against Gaza,” he said.
Regarding the meetings with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Hezbollah added that “all options are open on our Lebanese front (…) we told the enemy that he can think about attacking Lebanon or doing a preventive operation, that this is the greatest stupidity of his existence.”
