High wind warnings across Southern California were issued Sunday and will remain in effect until Tuesday morning, along with warmer, drier weather.
Drivers are urged to use caution on Monday morning trips along the 5 Freeway in Orange County south of Anaheim, and through the 10 and 15 freeways in the Inland Empire. Cities including Riverside, San Bernardino, Corona and Fontana are expected to experience 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

High temperatures in the Inland Empire will be in the low 70s Monday before moving into the mid and upper 70s Tuesday, including 79 degrees in Ontario and Lake Elsinore.
Expect peak wind gusts on Monday with local gusts between 55 and 75 miles per hour through passes and canyons, with the strongest winds below Cajon Pass, located in San Bernardino County along the 15 Freeway , according to the National Weather Service.
In Orange County, winds are expected northeast of Santa Ana from 30 to 40 miles per hour, with gusts up to 60 mph. A high wind warning is in effect for inland OC areas, including Mission Viejo, Orange, Fullerton and Santa Ana. Coastal areas like Costa Mesa and Laguna Beach could see 25 to 40 MPH winds through Monday, National Weather Service meteorologist Adam Roser said.
High temperatures will remain in the upper 70s in inland Orange County areas on Monday, with Irvine and Anaheim expected to reach 80 degrees on Tuesday.
A high wind warning was also issued for the Santa Clarita Valley and the San Fernando Valley through Monday afternoon. Damaging winds from 35 to 45 mph with gusts of 65 mph could affect trees and power lines, making travel difficult. Warmer temperatures are expected to reach the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday, with highs in the low 80s for Woodland Hills.
The warning includes the western San Gabriel Mountains with local gusts up to 80 mph, as well as the 5 Freeway and Highway 14 corridor, where high winds will remain in effect until Tuesday morning.
