Question: Are you satisfied with the government’s compliance with the agreement and how the commitments were fulfilled?
Answer: We only have two months left, but I am satisfied with the pact with the government. It is a strong and stable government, with great unity and daily communication, as it should be. There is no crisis while people are trying to blame.
P: Replacement always means crisis.
A: There is no crisis. There have been some minor changes as the previous advisor, Camino Limia, decided to leave for personal reasons. The counselor was then changed and the teams continued. There is full confidence in the ministry and the Government ministry. We are a pineapple and we will continue to be so for a long time.
P: Limia’s interventions in social networks after his departure seem to indicate that there was more than a personal decision.
A: They are interpretations that they want to give. I don’t have social networks and I can talk about what I know, which are personal reasons.
Q: This week you appeared in Mérida with other members of Vox criticizing the acceptance of immigrants announced by its mayor, Antonio Rodríguez Osuna. Why do you think insecurity in the city will increase?
A: I fully support the words spoken by Ángel Pelayo Gordillo. I am with the parliamentary group, and from Vox we agree that immigrants come to legally demand. I do not agree with illegal immigration, which will bring more insecurity to Mérida and Extremadura. I agree with your words.
Q: But why do you link insecurity to immigration?
A: Because they promise you that you will go to paradise and it’s not like that, and you end up in a city that you don’t know. I don’t know how many immigrants they’re going to bring in, but it’s a complicated issue and I agree with what our representative said. I did not put or remove a comma in his words.
Q: And do you see “a victory,” as your party also says, the PSOE’s decision to denounce a crime of hate speech?
A: These are topics I will not discuss. I owe it to my party, which made that decision and I fully support it.
