IGT announced Thursday that today its subsidiary IGT Canada Solutions ULC signed a five-year contract extension with Loto-Québec to deliver an upgraded version of its INTELLIGENT video lottery core software system.
This extension will run till September 2027. “IGT’s IntelliGen Systems will offer Loto-Quebec progressive tools and features that will help position them for future success,” said Nick Khin, IGT’s director of gaming operations. “Lotto-Québec will receive the most advanced updates IntelliGen has to offer, giving them access to an instant overview of the status of their entire VLT network.”
Under the terms of the extension, IGT will upgrade Lotto-Quebec’s central video lottery system to the latest version of INTELLIGEN, which includes advanced network diagnostics and data analysis. IGT will also provide operational support for the INTELLIGEN system from its European operations center.

The software is based on over 25 years’ experience in mainframe systems and provides stable and secure command and control capability. It supports the Gaming Standards Association’s Game to System standard protocol, which enables an enhanced player user interface, enhanced gaming features, exciting jackpots and additional player-focused functionality.
