The Ilunion group is in one of the first moments in its history and the data supports it. 2022 closed the first excellent barrier 1,000 million lists compared to about 904 million reported in 2021. And not only did the turnover experience a significant increase, but the EBITDA (gross operating income) also exceeded 80 million of cash, compared to the previous year’s about 46 million.
“2012 was the year of our writing. 1 billion has been reached. Also, it is about the census and the year in terms of generation and the term EBITDA count. This growth results from the good performance of all the group’s divisions: business and resource services, tourism, social and healthcare, marketing, and consulting. Currently, Ilunion has more than 50 business lines. “It was a good year in general. We have between eight and ten companies with a record. The hotel division, for example, is already above 2019 in sales, results and with a history in ownership,” he points out.
The only area of business that is still below pre-Covid levels is retail. This happens, as Oñoro explains because the target of consumption in hospitals is changing. “Hospitals now have less traffic and a little more to receive sales levels in stores,” he maintains.
By 2023, the manager hopes Sales grew 8% compared to the previous year with 2022 and EBITDA slightly above that reported last year. In the longer term, the group hopes to reach 1.2 billion in revenue by 2025. Regarding recruitment, they currently have a workforce of 37,000 people and expect to reach 40,000 before the end of the year. Even though financial information is important, the director points out that the social side of the business has the greatest importance. Nearly 43% of the entire workforce has some disability. “Our business model is to achieve a perfect link between economic and social”, he explains.

Ilunion was born in 2014 as a diversified business group. Currently, 50% of its employees are women, men with defects represent 43% of their three risks of exclusion 16%, and other countries 8%.
