In Mexico, 55 people have been killed in a truck smuggling accident: officials say

Dozens of people were killed when a truck carrying mostly Central American citizens overturned in southern Mexico on Friday, officials said.

In March 2021, 13 people were killed in an SUV crash near the U.S.-Mexico border in California. In August, 10 people were killed when a van crashed in southern Texas.
