The series that Team India started with the ODI series, it continues in the T20 series against West Indies as well. In the first match of the five-match T20I series played on Friday, India defeated West Indies by a huge margin of 68 runs. The hero of the team’s victory in this match was captain Rohit Sharma, who played a tremendous innings of 64 runs.
Team India scored 190 runs while batting first in this match, in response West Indies could only score 122 runs after playing 20 overs. West Indies lost their 8 wickets, but in the end Team India won the match by 68 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Windies’ back broke the pair of spinners

India stronger with the return of captain Rohit

Apart from Rohit Sharma, finisher Dinesh Karthik once again showed amazing. In the middle, when Team India’s innings faltered, then Dinesh Karthik finally played an innings of 41 runs in 19 balls to take the team to a big score.
Dinesh Karthik hit 4 fours, 2 sixes in his innings. Ravichandran Ashwin also scored 13 runs in 10 balls with him and in the end Team India’s score reached 190 runs. Apart from these, Suryakumar Yadav scored 24, Rishabh Pant scored 14, Ravindra Jadeja scored 16 runs.
