INDE is preparing the new edition of the Baja California 2023 marathon

The Baja California 2023 Marathon is scheduled for next Sunday, December 10, starting at 07:30 am, as confirmed by the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of the State (INDE) of Baja California during a meeting held by the Board Room at Ciudad Deportiva.

The meeting was directed by the director of High Level of Competition, Carlos King, representing the owner Erik Morales, and the director of Physical Culture, Isaac Guerra, who oversees the progress of the preparations for the new edition in the activity.

Isaac Guerra, operational coordinator of this marathon, one of the oldest in Mexico held since 1967, announced that the event will take place on December 10, with a starting and ending point in Ciudad Deportiva.

INDE in Baja California is expecting a great celebration that will include fun races in the 4x10K Relay and the Mini Marathon, where the state’s sports talents and the general public who want to stay active will participate.

During the meeting, the organizational structure of the Organizing Committee was established, which will work hard to ensure that this 42,195 kilometer endurance test will be successful.

Carlos King, on behalf of INDE, announced that a press conference on the 2023 Baja California Marathon will be held next Tuesday at 12:00 noon in the city. Conferences are also planned in Tijuana and Ensenada.

The meeting included the participation of Valerio Camargo, director of IMDECUF, Gerardo Medina, president of the State Athletics Association, and David Canchola, president of the Municipal Athletics League and technical coordinator of the Baja California Marathon.
