Guillermo Alburquenque, also known as “Memo Banque”, commented on the complicated family moments he and his wife had faced in recent months.
This Thursday, Memo Banque and his wife Paola Torres appeared on the morning show Buenos días a Todos, where they commented on the difficult situation they face as a family after health complications for a large part of their members.
The comedian revealed that both he, his wife and their daughter have dealt with complex health conditions in recent months.
“Our daughter, Cami, had her baby early, she didn’t make it through the entire pregnancy. She was in the ICU for a few days. It was very complicated, especially for Pao, her mother,” he explained.
Also, he had to face serious lung disease. “Then I started feeling bad. I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, I had to undergo a biopsy for about 9 million pesos. We did a lottery and we couldn’t afford it.”
“But thanks to him, contacts were made to enter Thorax Hospital, where the biopsy was done a month ago, it was a long wait,” he concluded.
Memo Banke’s wife was sequel after serious infection
In contact with tvN this morning, his wife elaborated on his recent hospitalization after suffering an abscess in the jaw as a result of a bone infection.
“Osteomyelitis happened, the bacteria calcified the jaw bone. (…) I was left with sequels, I don’t feel half of my face, this is already a definite diagnosis. It’s hard for me to eat, it’s hard for me to talk,” Torres explained.
“I had a toothache, I went to the dentist and they didn’t find anything. The neck started swelling and Alteiro was admitted to the hospital. That’s where the whole process started, on February 20,” he explained.
After this, he was also diagnosed with depression. “Emotionally, it has affected me a lot, I was already beaten up and it has grounded me. It has been very hard”, she closed.
