The Casa Amor split is wreaking havoc on Love Island as Jacques O’Neill and Paige Thorne become the latest couple to be tested.
The arrival of a new batch of boys at that second property and a new group of women in the main villa has already caused tension with many of the islanders kissing the newly minted contestants.
Tuesday’s episode will provide further challenges as rugby player Jacques plans to “crack” the other girls to get to know him, while paramedic Page is given some tough love about his relationship.
Speaking to Demi Hope and Andrew Le Page at the main villa, Jacques says: “I woke up in a dirty mood and that, and the next minute I’m thinking ‘What am I doing?’ I’m just thinking about Peggy, I’m thinking I can’t be like that, it’s not me.
Dami tells him: “You’re feeling guilty before anything.”
Jacques continues: “I literally said to myself, I feel like it because I’m feeling about Peggy’s feelings, I’m not thinking about myself.
“I need to put myself out there. How do I know if what I’ve got with Paige is so good if I don’t even give it another chance with someone else?”
“For me to do that, I need to crack. I can’t sit around here and be sad for someone else.”
While at the Casa Amor villa, new boy Samuel Eggbee offers his vision of Jacques to Paige and the other islanders.
He says: “He’s quite a cheeky, playful guy…. What I believe is pretty clear that you (Paige) like him, as much as he likes you, is just an observation.
“It’s not just that, but he knows about it, which is why in a sense, he has power in the relationship in different ways that you might not have realized.”

The 22-year-old model adds: “He has insulted you in some arguments that he shouldn’t have.
“Now, if they put a girl out there who is confident, very flirtatious, who looks just as good as you and she puts pressure on her, and moves on her head could potentially turn.” is…. He is just one of them in that in a flirty situation, he is definitely flirting back.”
In Beach Hut, Peggy admits emotionally: “I know Jacques is a cheeky, bubbly guy. I’m not saying for a second that he’s going to sit there chilling, not joining in. Is … I just can’t do that.”
This comes after Peggy breaks up with new guy Billy Brown at Casa Amor because she still feels a strong connection with Jacques.
She says: “I know we’re really going, in fact we joke and laugh and kind of stuff but from my side I’m looking at it as a friendship, nothing more.
“To be fair, my head is definitely still with Jacques.”
Billy replies: “Well, I’m glad you told me this because at the end of the day, we haven’t got a long time. But I appreciate you being honest, so it’s all good.”
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
