James Gunn recently blasted Twitter at the tide of rumors that were sweeping the DC universe, and he had no problem reacting via Twitter: “I was bombarded with bullshit DC rumors this morning. I’ll reiterate the general rule of thumb: don’t believe anything until it comes from me and Peter. But unless it’s particularly cocky, I’m going to slow down and hold it (sorry Do, I know, it’s one of my favorite traditions),” Gunn said. “There are three reasons for this: 1) Some people are making up lies to get my attention or clicks and I don’t want to encourage that. 2) I read a hundred rumors this morning. Half of them are true. So I don’t want to That people use me as a way to throw crap at the wall until something sticks. 3) I’m storyboarding Superman: The Legacy and don’t have time! Have a nice day!”
