Jamie Lee Curtis Ignites Multiverse Debate With Digg on ‘Doctor Strange 2’

Jamie Lee Curtis debuts in the film Battle Royale of Lifetime.

Curtis co-stars with Michelle Yeoh and Ke Hui Kwan in the surreal and mind-bending film “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” which hits theaters in March.

The “Halloween” actor took to Instagram to talk about why she raves about the blockbuster “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which debuted this weekend.

“Everything Everywhere All At Once” follows an immigrant mother (Yoh) who must channel her newfound powers to fight sinister threats in the infinite world of the Multiverse.

Both films focus on inter-dimensional travel, but in a series of social media posts, Curtis told fans why she thinks the film she’s a part of takes the cake.

On Friday, she posted a photo of a New York Times review of the “Doctor Strange” sequel, which compared it to “Everything Everywhere All At Once”, which had “more wit and imagination” according to critic AO Scott.

Alluding to a more recent studio sequel, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” Curtis wrote: “@everythingeverywheremovie is MARVELOUS! It has a deep beating heart and great visual behavior, exceptional performances and great Beastly fight scenes… And that’s less than the entire craft service budget on Doctor Strange and/or any other Marvel movie.”

Curtis added more fuel to the fire, saying, “Competitive? F*** yeah. I wasn’t a cheerleader in high school for no reason. And P.S. We had a dynamite dildo fight scene in our movie as well as a pretty sensual one.” Hotdogs are hand mating dances and rocks.”

She added a cherry to the top with the hashtag: “#guessiwillneverbecastinamarvelmovie.”

Curtis did not stop here. actor too was posted side by side Image of movie posters for two films, calling the poster for “Doctor Strange 2” a “copycat”.

“It’s just me? Does it feel weird that our little film that could and did do ##1movieinamerica and is really amazing,” Curtis quipped in his post.

She declared the film “any Marvel movie they put out there.”

“Is this one of those internet fights? All I can say is we will get killed in a family feud with Doctor Strange strangers,” she joked.

Watch “Everything Everywhere All At Once” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” in theaters now.
