The Boston Red Sox are in action with their first big game of the 2023 MLB season. After a surprising streak of several wins, they were now taken away by the Angels and the staff realized the bad staff that this Mexican baseball player was experiencing.
According to NESN, Alex Cora received pressure from Jarren Duran, who has criticized him heavily for his poor numbers in the past two weeks.
“They’re hitting some way. He’s not hitting the ball hard, but he’s not out of control either. He’s not hitting .430, you know? He’s got a .380 on-base percentage with a .300 batting average. That’s the average part of the time. He’s going to be the end.”
Duran made his debut on April 17th to fill in for the injured Adam Duvall, taking the opportunity to bat with a .417/.456/.683 line in 17 games.

That rhythm was inevitably broken and his average dropped by more than 100 points in the last 16 games.
In 34 games this season, Jarren Duran is hitting .300/.353/.483 with three home runs, 19 RBIs, 13 doubles and seven stolen bases and is among the top three Red Sox players in batting average and on-base percentage.
