Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s marriage may have ended in 2005, but the ex-spouses seem to have something in common: a willingness to seek personal guidance from a medium named Karissa Schumacher, who claims to be transmitting the spirit of Jesus Christ.
That’s according to the New York Times profile of Schumacher, a San Diego-based medium who says he can receive messages from deceased people, which she passes on to her top-of-the-line clients to help them spiritually heal.
Aniston, who has been dating Schumacher since 2019, admitted to the New York Times that the idea that someone can communicate with Jesus is “getting out of there” and for some people it would be “crazy.”
Aniston talked about Schumacher’s ability to help her cope with personal problems, including work, friendships and relationships.
“It’s more about the message she got,” Aniston told writer Irina Alexander. “Everything she said to me resonates with me and excites me.”
Spiritual advisor Karissa Schumacher guides the dead for celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston and Rooney Mara. At the end of 2019, she said that she began preaching Yeshua, or Jesus, as he is called in the Old Testament. https://t.co/JXemc29rCc

The Morning Show star also said that Schumacher revealed details of the relative’s death, which “gave her clarity about her childhood.”
“A moment later, my jaw was on the floor and tears were flowing from my eyes,” Aniston said.
Schumacher charges $ 1,111 an hour for his New Age spiritism brand, and her other top-notch clients included Pitt, Rooney Mara, Rob Lowe, and director David Fincher. Pitt declined to comment on the New York Times profile.
The story, released Friday, begins with a party at the Los Angeles estate where Aniston, Uma Thurman, Andy McDowell, Jenna Dewan, and others gathered to hear Schumacher speak of Yeshua, the accepted Hebrew name for Jesus. who, according to the medium, “invites us to throw off our burden.”
According to the New York Times, Schumacher and her henchmen were also there to celebrate Tuesday’s release of her new book, Freedom Transfers, which contains transcripts of her sessions on Yeshua.
Aniston, who has consulted many healers, astrologers and numerologists over the years, apparently heard about Schumacher through Lowe. She told Alexander that she received a session with a medium as a gift for her 50th birthday in 2019.
That same year, Aniston also attended one of Schumacher’s “journeys” into the desert outside Sedona, Arizona. During the journey, the medium invites clients to meditate in the caves and sometimes guides their dead relatives. Aniston was particularly moved during one of Schumacher’s heart-opening ceremonies.
“My heart could have been closed for the past 15 years or so for some reason,” Aniston told Alexandru, adding that she’s not sure if the actor is referring to her divorce from Pitt in 2005.
Aniston added that she rarely does something with strangers.
“It usually paralyzes me with fear,” she told Alexander. “For a man who has built a life of walls, protection, suspicion and, as you know, a public person, this was probably the greatest gift I have had in terms of human experience in a long, long time.”
Towards the end of the ceremony, Aniston said, “I just hugged 29 strangers and thanked them for their vulnerability.”
Mara also told the Times that she attended one of Sedona’s travels after a private conversation with Schumacher.
“The first session was incredible,” said the Oscar-nominated star of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
According to the Times, Schumacher’s past does not necessarily bode well for a spiritual career. She studied cognitive neuroscience at Brown University and worked in biotechnology for the San Diego pharmaceutical company. but she started having visions, she “sensed the energy of Yeshua” and consulted with a medium who lives in Oregon and says that she can guide the Virgin Mary.
Schumacher began channeling friends in 2013 and spent 10 years preparing Yeshua’s channeling. She told Alexander that she cooks, meditating daily, cutting out sugar and caffeine and limiting her diet to “five foods: broccoli, cauliflower, turkey, chicken and watermelon.”
Schumacher said she was finally able to channel Yeshua in 2019. Those who witnessed the channeling told Alexander that Schumacher’s voice and body had changed.
“Yeshua’s voice is deeper, more measured and has a slight British accent,” Alexander said, and Schumacher said she felt like she was “flushed down the toilet” before “he came.” .. My body is trembling. “
For this profile, Alexander interviewed Susan Herbic, founder of Guerrilla Skeptics, a group that researches people she calls “vampires of grief.” Gerber denied claims by Schumacher and other mediums that they could communicate with dead people.
“I could give you a detailed answer that we do not know everything yet, and science does not know everything, but I think you know my answer: this is all nonsense,” Gerber told Alexandru. “It No you can communicate with deceased people. They are dead. “
According to Alexander, Schumacher’s fans insist that she is not the leader of a cult that is trying to control the mind or instill in her clients.
For her part, Aniston says, “It’s not for everyone. But as long as it does not harm anyone, I feel it to each his own. Anything that makes it easier to walk this world with an easier step, especially today. “
