Wild video shows Travel Guide stars Kevin and Janetta lashing out at a shop worker during an awkward confrontation
The two stars of the Channel Nine reality show Travel Guides were involved in a heated encounter with a shopkeeper during a recent trip to the countryside of Victoria.
Kevin and Janetta, who call themselves “travel snobs” only wanting the best on vacation, were seen arguing with a woman behind the counter as she filmed them.
The store employee tells the retired couple that they are not welcome at their place of business in the town of Maldon, 136 km from Melbourne.

The video, which has gone viral on TikTok, begins with 61-year-old Kevin approaching the camera and hissing into the lens.
Then he comes closer and says, ‘You smell.’
While it is not clear what exactly caused the controversy, the shopkeeper claims that celebrity tourists ‘banged’ the window of his shop.

Kevin and Janet, 67, eventually turn their backs on the woman who follows them with the camera and yells, ‘Who do you work for?’
The pair then turn around and Kevin asks, ‘Who do you work for?’, to which the woman replies: ‘The Painter and the Writer’s Gallery.’
Janet turns to Kevin and says, ‘Someone can see us talking to him, then no one will talk to us.’

A Channel Nine spokesperson declined to comment.
The couple starred in all five seasons of Travel Guides, which sees ordinary Australians become travel critics on international and domestic holidays.
The new season premiered last week.
