Kicillof inaugurates ‘2023 Buenos Aires Games’

The governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, inaugurated the “2023 Buenos Aires Games” this Friday in Mar del Plata, in a ceremony held in Las Toscas promenade with the presence of more than 40 thousand young people .

The governor warned that “these projects may fall if the electoral proposals of Together for Change (JxC) or La Libertad Avanza are implemented in October.”

Kicillof mentioned the demographic change experienced in the region surrounding Mar del Plata in recent years, where there has been a notable increase in residents going to a hospital over 62 years of age. .

“This is a deep and structural change in the health situation in General Pueyrredon and in the whole area. Obviously, the Oscar Allende Interzonal Hospital (HIGA) will continue to operate and I will add a more complex hospital .In addition, two new hospitals will be added in Villa Gesell and Necochea, with greater response capacity to reduce the demand,” he said.

For his part, Kreplak assured that in the case of Mar del Plata “the investment for the construction of the new hospital will amount to 15 billion pesos and will be located on the same property where the Allende Hospital is now located.”

Previously, Kicillof assured that his administration would make “investments for each municipality regardless of the party affiliation” of its administrators with the aim of “strengthening the emergency health network”, by leading the delivery of five complex ambulances in Mar del Plata and fifteen computers to be used for the integration and digitization of information from the provincial health system.

“We deliver the ambulance 240 in our administration and we make a big investment so that every municipality, without partisan difference, has ambulances that allow it to strengthen the health emergency network,” said Kicillof in an event that happened at Almirante Brown square in this city.

In this way, two ambulances were delivered to the Interzonal General Acute Hospital (HIGA), another two to the Maternal and Child Hospital and the rest will be handed over to the Integrated Health Emergency System (SIES).

“We also distributed a resonator and an angiograph to Oscar Allende Hospital (HIGA) and computers to three other hospitals in the district. At times when the role of public health as the State is being questioned , we continue to guarantee the right to health with more resources. ,” said the president.
