Kristen Stewart announced on Tuesday that she was getting married and explained how thrilled she was that her fellow screenwriter Dylan Meyer took the initiative to propose.

Regarding her engagement, Stewart joked to Stern that in a relationship between two women, it might be a little tricky to know who would be proposing the marriage.
“With two girls, you never know who will fill this weird (swearing) gender role,” Stewart said, according to People. “We don’t do it and we don’t think about it in such terms. She just grabbed this bowl and did it. It was … so sweet. “
Stewart told Stern in a November 2019 interview that she was impatient to ask her. Stewart said she has several scripts for Meyer’s proposal, but won’t share them with Stern or his audience.

Although Stewart once described Pattinson as her first love, it has been speculated that she and Pattinson were dating only for publicity. The study of the relationship intensified when Stewart was convicted of cheating with Rupert Sanders, the married director of her film Snow White and the Huntsman. Stewart and Pattinson parted ways for good in 2013.
During an interview with InStyle, Stewart talked about how difficult it is for her to juggle her personal life while living with immense fame. She said she was never ashamed of being gay, but was afraid to talk too much about her personal life.
