WASHINGTON ( Associated Press) — Nick Kyrgios scored six match points during the second-set tie-break to beat hometown Credits Frances Tiafoe 6-7 (5), 7-6 (12), 6-2 in the quarterfinals on Friday night. In other quarterfinal matches, Ziyu Wang defeated veteran Victoria Azarenka 6–1, 6–3, Daria Seville defeated Rebecca Marino 6–1, 7–5 and Kaia Kanepi defeated Anna Kalinskaya 6–7(4), 6 .-4, beat 6. -3.
