Large group of robbers attacked a boutique in downtown Auckland

Auckland. The downtown clothing boutique was trying to raise money after being attacked by a mob of robbers earlier this week, police said.

A Oakland police spokesman said the officers responded at about 11:15 pm Monday at Prime 356 boutique at block 300 on 14th Street west of Webster Street and learned that several people had arrived on the street in cars before picking up thousands of dollars in merchandise. within minutes and running away.

A short surveillance camera video posted online showed masked figures in hooded sweatshirts picking up items from shelves and walls before an invisible person could turn the camera around.

In an online fundraising campaign GoFundMe published on Tuesday, employees said more than thirty people were involved in the robbery, which is the second highest for a boutique this month.

“Our gates were torn off the frame, the windows were knocked out, and the doorframe was broken,” the message says in part. “These people stole most of our inventory and effectively took us out of business for a while.”
