The period of political upheaval in Maharashtra is not over yet. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, in a tweet late last night, has indicated to deal with the opponents in a tough tone, between the arrival of K in New Delhi and the rebellion of 12 MPs of the party. Raut has written, “Teach the skill of crushing the fun too.. Do not leave the forest because of the fear of snakes… Jai Maharashtra!!”

Yesterday, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray expelled many leaders including Ramdas Kadam and Anandrao Adsul from the party. These leaders have been thrown out of the party citing anti-party activities.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who is currently in New Delhi, along with 12 Shiv Sena MPs may meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Eknath Shinde had an online meeting with 12 of the 18 Shiv Sena MPs yesterday. Looking at this move of Eknath Shinde, it is being speculated that Shinde can give another blow to Uddhav Thackeray.
Let us inform that after the rebellion of Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena is now divided into two factions in which the first faction is of Uddhav Thackeray and the second faction is of Eknath Shinde. Now Eknath Shinde faction has started staking claim on Shiv Sena. After the split of Shiv Sena MLAs into two factions, Shiv Sena MPs are also splitting into two factions. Shiv Sena has a total of 18 MPs in the state. It is being claimed that 12 of them are with the Shinde faction.
