Lil Wayne will replace Savatee as headliner at the Coachella Day One 22 celebration in the Coachella Valley on New Year’s Eve.
Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, DJ personality DJ Diesel of E-40 and Gator will remain on the lineup at Coachella’s Spotlight 29 at the outdoor venue adjacent to the Casino.
The event will still feature art installations by DO Labs, aerialists, stilt walkers, live painters and more.
According to an email from Spotlight 29 spokesperson Carolyn Smith and the Twenty-Nine Palms band of the Mission Indians, Savitri opted out of the event for personal reasons.
On December 10, Spotlight29 announced on Instagram that Souvette was being replaced with Lil Wayne and would offer two complimentary tickets to the event per person. All complimentary tickets have since been claimed, but “advanced general admission” is still available for $99. Enhanced general admission includes viewing in close proximity to the stage and use of the private bar. General Admission tickets that were purchased before the Complimentary Tickets were offered will be upgraded to Advanced General Admission. VIP tickets, which include sky deck, couch, bottle service (for an upcharge), private restrooms and private bar, are available for $250.
This show is going to run from 8 pm to 2 pm
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has sued Ticketmaster against Live Nation Entertainment for advertising Coachella Day One 22, similar to how the annual Coachella festival is advertised
The suit alleges that the Twenty-Nine Palms band of the Mission Indians, which owns Coachella Crossroads and Spotlight 29, has been “deliberately trading on goodwill” of the Coachella event, thereby creating a “consumer trade-off” with the long-running festival. confusion and wrong association”.
