Love Island contestants were left speechless after Monday night’s replay.
Jacques was forced to choose between two single girls in the villa, Afia and Paige.
Jacques, who is fellow contestant Gemma’s ex-boyfriend, decides to move in with Page, kicking Afia out of the show after just five days at the villa. The decision was received with a rocky silence in the villa.
Afia, 25, was one of the bombings introduced after last Tuesday’s recap, along with 27-year-old Ekin-su.
The London lounge host previously went on a date with Liam, who later announced his decision to leave the series after only five days because he had “not been on his own” since arriving. Liam’s exit meant that the rest of the islanders were spared in the first reconnaissance.
Love Island continues every night, except Saturdays, at 9 p.m. on Virgin Media Two.
Jacques O’Neill made a dramatic entrance at the Love Island villa on Sunday as it was revealed that he is Gemma Owen’s ex-boyfriend.

It turned out the pair had dated for eight months, Gemma said, breaking up a year and a half ago, with viewers scrambling to do the math on their age at the time of their relationship. Gemma is this year’s youngest contestant, aged just 19, while Jacques is 23.
“Gemma just turned 19 and broke up with this man 1.5 years ago when she was 17 and a half years old. She dated him for 8 months, which means she started dating this man at 16 When he was 20 years old??????” One fan concluded on Twitter.
“Must be weird for Jacques. He hasn’t seen Gemma since she was a kid,” joked comedian Michael Fry.
Questioning why none of the other islanders mentioned it, one fan wrote: “Have none of them done the math on Jacques and Gemma’s relationship timeline?”
Spectators had previously criticized the age difference between Gemma and 27-year-old David Sanclimenti, who was linked with the daughter of former England footballer Michael Owen, until Luka Bish picked her in the final replay.
One person wrote on Twitter: “19 and 27 is a crazy age difference,” another wrote: “No, Gemma’s age means I can’t see her with either of them. Just feels wrong.”
Many fans have now suggested that Love Island imposes a minimum age requirement on contestants.
One person said, “Please please need to be at least 21 years old. I don’t want to see a 19 year old kissing someone who is 30.”
Love Island fans took to social media to mock Gemma’s NSFW remarks on Monday’s episode of the ITV2 dating show.
During the show, the girls were discussing whether they would lick the back end of a pig for £2,000. Gemma, who is an international dressage rider, said she would prefer to lick the backs of a horse because they are cleaner.
“All they eat is grass,” claimed Michael Owen’s 19-year-old daughter.
Naturally, viewers were quick to comment on the bizarre statement. “Now we know why Gemma’s horse looks so happy,” wrote one viewer alongside a photo of Gemma and her gelding Serious Black.
Another shared a video of a horse being taken into the air by a helicopter and captioned it, “Gemma’s horse looks like the new bomb tonight.”
Later in the episode, Afia becomes the first contestant to be dumped from the island after Liam left the series because he “didn’t feel like himself”.
In previews for last night’s episode, it was revealed that two new boys will be entering the villa.
