Madhyapradesh: After the change of power in Madhya Pradesh, the situation today is that there is still a simmering rift between BJP and Congress workers. The seriousness of the matter is that former Chief Minister Kamal Nath made a controversial statement on covid 19 and on the other hand the Madhya Pradesh Crime Branch lodged a complaint against him.
BJP workers protested against Kamal Nath’s statement and demanded that a police complaint be lodged in this regard. The crime branch has registered an offense against Kamal Nath under section 188 and section 54 of disaster management has also been imposed.
The controversy erupted when Kamal Nath made a statement in Ujjain that Indians were being mistreated. The foreign media in India is calling the Corona an Indian variant. In Britain, Indians are not being put in taxis. Earlier, he had accused the Madhya Pradesh government of hiding the death toll.
They (Govt) are not fighting with COVID but with criticism. Some journalists are also booked. They're busy in image mgmt, not COVID mgmt. Y'day, I asked for info on bodies that arrived at crematoriums. They're lying to world & MP is example of it: Kamal Nath, Congress, in Ujjain pic.twitter.com/IFhCc6GWME

Where did the controversy come from?
The Madhya Pradesh BJP delegation went to the crime branch and filed an application to register a complaint against Kamal Nath. The manner in which he has made the statement has tarnished the image of Indians abroad. The meeting of MLAs has talked about spoiling the atmosphere in the region. These two main issues were sought to form the basis in the FIR.
Kamal Nath said he did not care about false allegations
Seeing the aggression shown by the BJP, Kamal Nath issued a press note. He said he supported the government in difficult times. Their responsibility is also towards the people of the region and they cannot be left to die like this. The wrongdoing of the government cannot be justified. He will continue to fight in the interest of the people of the region, he is not afraid of the government’s FIR.
In other words, politics in Madhya Pradesh has now come to a standstill with Corona and under this pretext, BJP and Congress leaders and activists have started settling their accounts.
