A big mistake has been caught in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. Because of this, the court has sent a notice to the makers. Fans are eagerly waiting for this much-awaited film of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. But even before the release of the film, it has been eclipsed. It is a film featuring the power struggle of the Chola Empire during the 10th century. Recently a teaser was released, in which a glimpse of some of the main characters like Vikram, Trisha and Aishwarya Rai was also seen.
Court notice to Mani Ratnam
On one hand, while this film is ready for release on 30 September 2022, on the other hand, this film also seems to be surrounded by controversies. The court has issued notices to the film’s director Mani Ratnam and actor Vikram. The makers are accused of misrepresenting the story of the Chola Empire. This film is going to show the story of the Chola dynasty who ruled India for 1500 years. The lawyer has demanded a special screening to check the historical facts in the film.
Advocate Selvam suspects that the Chola dynasty is being portrayed in a wrong way in the film. Selvam, in his petition, has demanded that a special screening of the film Ponniyin Selvan be held before its release, to ensure that the filmmakers do not tamper with the facts. It is suspected that the makers can show something about Rajvansh in the film, which has nothing to do with the truth.
Ponniyin Selvan is Mani Ratnam’s dream project. Mani Ratnam was trying to make this film for the last several years. As of now, no response has been given on this controversy like Mani Ratnam or Vikram. Along with Aishwarya, Vikram, many actors like Saratkumar, Prabhu, Shobhita Dhulipal, Karti, Trisha, Prakash Raj are in important roles in the film. The first part of the film is going to release on 30 September this year. It will be released in five languages, which include Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
