In a letter addressed to the national leadership of the National Regeneration Movement, Manuel Huerta asked for compliance with the agreement to make public, this Monday, October 30, the results of the survey that will define the nine states of the Republic, who be the and the Fourth Amendment Defense coordinators of each entity.
It warns in the document that, if this commitment is not fulfilled in time, as promised on Monday, October 30, a series of suspicions will be created that will pollute the transparency of the internal process, which is why it calls for the following the guidelines of the Movement, “Don’t steal, don’t lie and don’t betray the people” proclaimed by the President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador within the project of the Nation.
The document is addressed to Claudia Sheinbaum, National Coordinator of the Transformation Defense Committees; Mario Delgado, National President of Morena; Alfonso Durazo, head of the National Elections Commission and members of the National Elections and Honor and Justice Commissions in Morena.
Manuel Huerta pointed out the need to call a meeting of the national leadership of Morena with all the participants in the internal process of the 9 states where the results of the survey were reported so as not to create a greater misunderstanding that could create distrust or suspicion. to manipulate results within the Movement at a time when unity is needed.
The document emphasizes that it is necessary to know the criteria used for the selection of genres in each entity and explain, especially to the people, the reason for this decision, since then, it stands, with transparency and in an open way, people do not feel betrayed.
Huerta confirmed in the letter that above any personal interest is his desire to consolidate the Transformation Movement and provide justice in Mexico and especially in Veracruz where he fought for it all his life.
Because of this, he reiterated, there is a deep respect for women, as well as a permanent vocation for justice for the struggle for political rights and gender equality, which is why he stated that although he knows that he is the winner of the survey, if the Movement must give him a space for a woman, accept the decision imposed, this is as long as the result of the people’s preference is made public.
It is stated in the document that “Nothing can make this process fairer and fairer than the transparency that gives assurance, that a woman is chosen to represent us, by a decision of the people who support her, and that competitive behavior supports him, and that, even knowing that I am the winner of the poll, I will accept for the good of our Movement”.
Finally, he called for unity but strengthened by the will of the people and around the principles and values ​​by which President Andrés Manuel López Obrador guides the Movement.
